No. A monitor can be associated with only one account. However, there is no limit on the number of HolbyMonitors per account.
Yes. When setting up the base station, scroll to Config Wi-Fi, select your wireless network from the list and enter the wireless network password. See the Setup Instructions for additional details.
Yes. You can designate any number of contacts to receive text messages and/or email messages whenever an alert is generated. See the Setup Instructions for additional details.
Download the free App from either the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Search for “HolbyMonitor” and download the app to your new phone.
In the App, tap the Menu symbol (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner of your phone. A list of functions will appear. Tap on ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT, Additional Contacts then Add Contact. Enter the new Contact’s details:
- Name
- Email address
- Tap on the check-box under the Email address box to select this contact to be notified by Email in the event of an alert.
- Cell phone number
- Tap on the check-box under the Phone number box to select this contact to be notified by text in the event of an alert.
- Tap on the box under Devices. Select the device this Contact will be monitoring.
- Tap Save at the top of the window.

If you are the Primary User:
- Tap on Primary User. Your detail information will be displayed.
- Modify desired information.
- Tap Save or Save and Close.
If you are not the Primary User:
- Tap on Additional Contacts. A list of the existing contacts will be displayed.
- Tap on the contact you want to update. The contact’s detail window will be displayed.
- Modify the desired information.
- Tap Save or Save and Close.
When your base station is connected to the internet using an Ethernet cable and you search for available networks, this will be displayed. The base station will not search for wireless networks when connected via Ethernet cable.
If you are seeing accurate temps on the base station display and not in the App, your base station is not connected to the internet. Verify that the Ethernet connection is working properly. When the RJ45 connector is plugged into the right side of the base station, the green LED next to the connection should be illuminated.
The base station can handle up to four (4) Nodes
Temperatures are checked every five (5) seconds. If the readings are within the specified range, the transmitter will sent the temperature data to the base station every eight (8) minutes. If any temperature goes outside the specified range, and exceeds the alert limit, the transmitter will immediately send the temperature data to the base station without delay.
